Refund Policy

General Information

This Return & Refund Policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions of Sale and applies to all purchases made through Lurana Pearl Studio. We take great care to ensure the quality and craftsmanship of all our jewellery items. Every piece is carefully inspected before shipping. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

Eligibility for Returns or Refunds

Due to the nature of jewellery and for hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for change of mind, incorrect sizing, or general wear and tear. Refunds or replacements will only be issued in the case of a verified manufacturing defect. A manufacturing defect refers to a structural or material fault in the jewellery item that occurred during production and is not caused by misuse, accidental damage, or normal wear.

 

Reporting a Manufacturing Defect

If you believe your jewellery item is defective, you must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order by emailing:

Please include the following information:

Your full name and order number.

A detailed description of the defect

Clear photos or videos showing the defect

Our quality assurance team will review your claim. If the defect is verified as a manufacturing issue, we will provide instructions for return or replacement.

 

Return Authorization

Do not return any items without prior approval. Unauthorised returns will not be accepted or refunded. Once your return is approved, we will provide you with a Return Authorisation (RA) number and instructions on how to send the item back. Returned items must be: Unworn, unused, and in their original packaging

Returned within 14 days of receiving RA approval

Shipped with a trackable delivery method (return postage costs are the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed)

 

Refund or Replacement Process

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or replacement.

If approved:

A replacement item (same style) will be shipped at no additional cost, or

A refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days

 

We reserve the right to decline a refund or replacement if:

The item shows signs of use or damage not caused by a manufacturing defect

The defect is determined to be the result of mishandling, impact, water exposure, chemicals, or improper storage

 

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items are not eligible for return or refund unless defective: Earrings and body jewellery: personalised or custom-made pieces, Sale or clearance items

 

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited strictly to the replacement or refund of defective items as outlined above.

We are not responsible for:

Normal wear and tear

Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, or unauthorized repairs

Slight variations in color, shape, or texture due to the natural characteristics of pearls, gemstones, or materials
